François LEBLANC, CEO and VP Industrial Operations
Formerly Strategic Business Unit Manager for PECVD products and Application Manager for the Displays Division at Unaxis, François previously worked in Japan as a process engineer in charge of PECVD systems for TFT-LCD manufacturers and as an Invited Researcher at Hitachi Research Lab. François is a graduate of Sup´Optic engineering school and received his PhD in physics from "Ecole Polytechnique" (Paris).



Philippe MECHANICK, CFO and member of Management Board
Philippe gained extensive finance experience in high technology and banking. He joined Nemoptic from Polyspace Technologies. Prior to that Philippe was Administrative & Financial Director of Capital One France - a major US credit company. He began his career as an auditor for Arthur Young.
 
 
 
Jacques ANGELE, VP Technology Programs, Co-founder, President of the Supervisory Board
Jacques left the Sagem Group to join Nemoptic when the company was set up in 1999. Jacques successfully developed the bistable BiNem display technology in cooperation with the Orsay Group, a leading center of excellence in physics. Prior to that, he was in charge of the Matra Group’s Liquid Crystal Laboratory, where he developed new display devices and professional applications in the LCD field. Jacques received an engineering degree from the « Ecole Supérieure d’Electronique et d’Electrotechnique » in Paris.
 
 
Cécile Joubert, IP and Technology Intelligence Manager
Before joining Nemoptic in 2001, Cécile spent 10 years working for the Thales Corporate Research Laboratory on holographic compensation film to improve direct view of the TFT LCD viewing angle for avionic applications, in collaboration with Thales Avionics. Cécile also worked on diffractive optics applied to displays to improve light efficiency of LCD projectors in collaboration with Thomson Multimedia. Cécile graduated as an engineer at ENSPS and received her Ph.D. degree in Physics in 1990 from Paris XI University. She received a Master of Economics at Sorbonne University (1990) and an International Industrial Studies Diploma in Patents from the Centre for International Industrial Property Studies (2006).
 
Philippe MARTINOT-LAGARDE, Scientific Advisor
Between 1975 to 1999, Philippe worked at the Solid State Physics laboratory of Orsay on the electro-optic properties of liquid crystals. He is an inventor of more than 10 patents applied by the French National Center of Scientific Research (CNRS) and author of the fundamental patents of BiNem® technology. Since 1959, Philippe has taught Physics and Electronics at different University levels, from technicians to post-graduates. His research has always been industry-focused, involving such companies such as Thales, Matra and SFIM. Among his many achievements, Philippe is the inventor of the Argon laser with Thales. Philippe graduated with a Ph.D. in Physics from the " Ecole Normale Supérieure " and is a Professor at the Université Paris-Sud Orsay.
